X Premium Customers moving to The X Subscription

The X Subscription brings Grok, Cursor, and X together in one plan. You don't need an existing X Premium subscription to switch.

Your X benefits depend on your plan and apply once you connect a personal X account:

• Free: Standard X
• Plus: a checkmark, creator tools, and fewer ads on X
• Premium, Super, and Ultra: full X Premium+ benefits

If you have X Premium+ today, choose Premium or higher to keep your X Premium+ benefits. Team plan seats include X benefits too. Each member gets them by connecting their own personal X account.

Only personal X accounts can be connected. X accounts managed by an organization, including affiliate accounts, can’t be connected.

If you pay for X Premium or X Premium+ on the X account you connect:

• That subscription is cancelled when you switch.
• You get an automatic refund for the unused time. It's sent separately and isn't subtracted from what you pay at checkout (see Invoices & Refunds). If you bought X Premium through the Apple App Store, we ask Apple to refund the unused time, and Apple decides on the refund.
• Your plan on The X Subscription replaces it, and your X benefits come from The X Subscription instead of a separate X bill.

If you bought Grok, Grok Bot, or X Premium through Google Play, check your subscriptions in Google Play after you switch. If it's still set to renew, cancel it there.

How you switch depends on whether you have a paid Cursor plan.

Start from Cursor so your Cursor account is unified with your X account and, if you have one, your Grok account.

1. Go to cursor.com/unify and click Get started.
2. Select X, plus Grok if you have a Grok account, and click Start linking accounts.
3. If you're adding Grok: sign in and confirm the account.
4. Sign in to the X account that has your X Premium, and authorize the connection.
5. Choose your plan under The X Subscription (Plus, Premium, Super, or Ultra), then review the details and proceed to checkout. Your X benefits appear after you switch. Linking your X account can take a little time.

You can switch right from X. Starting from X doesn't include Cursor. If you have a paid Cursor plan, start from Cursor.

1. On x.com, open your subscription settings and select the option to upgrade.
2. Choose your new plan (Plus, Premium, Super, or Ultra).
3. If you're asked to add a Grok account, sign in to add it.
4. Review your plan and finish checkout on x.com.

Contact Support if you unified without connecting X, or if your X benefits are missing after you connected X during the switch.
