Grok Bot

Grok Bot on The X Subscription

View as Markdown

Under The X Subscription, Grok Bot is included on Premium, Super, and Ultra plans. The X Subscription gives you one workspace and one bill covering Cursor and Grok, plus X benefits when you add a personal X account. Grok Bot is available as soon as you subscribe to or unify on one of these plans.

For who can unify, see Unification eligibility: Who can combine accounts?.

Which plans include Grok Bot?

Grok Bot is included on Premium, Super, and Ultra plans.

The Plus plan doesn't include Grok Bot. To use Grok Bot, choose Premium or higher. Super and Ultra give larger shared weekly allowances.

Under The X Subscription, Grok Bot usage draws from the weekly shared pool across Grok, Grok Bot, and Cursor.

If you get Grok Bot through SuperGrok

Some customers currently get Grok Bot usage through a SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, or SuperGrok Heavy subscription connected to Cursor. If you unify or sign up for The X Subscription, your Grok Bot usage entitlement will come from the new weekly shared pool.

If you connected SuperGrok to Cursor and have more than one Cursor account, you choose a primary account when you unify. See I have more than one Cursor account.

What happens to SuperGrok when you switch

When you switch to The X Subscription:

  • You pick one plan under The X Subscription that covers Cursor and Grok for that workspace (and X benefits when a personal X account is connected)
  • Old Cursor and Grok subscriptions on the accounts you combine are cancelled at checkout, and you get an automatic prorated refund for unused time. If you pay for Cursor through the Apple App Store, we can't cancel that subscription, so cancel it through Apple. If you bought Grok, Grok Bot, or X Premium through the Apple App Store, we cancel it and ask Apple to refund the unused time, and Apple decides on the refund. If you bought Grok, Grok Bot, or X Premium through Google Play, check your subscriptions in Google Play after you switch. If it's still set to renew, cancel it there. See Invoices & Refunds for details
  • Grok Bot then follows The X Subscription plan entitlements and weekly usage

A completed unification is permanent. It can’t be undone, and Support can’t undo it for you.

Switching is optional. If you don’t switch, your current plan continues. New customers start on The X Subscription.
