Invoices

Invoices for The X Subscription are available on your dashboard.

What happens to my previous plan when I switch?

When you switch to The X Subscription:

  • Eligible direct-billed subscriptions included in the switch are canceled and replaced by The X Subscription.
  • If you pay for Cursor through the Apple App Store, we can't cancel or refund that subscription. Cancel it in your iPhone or iPad Settings, or Apple keeps billing you. Request any refund from Apple.
  • Grok, Grok Bot, and X Premium subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store are canceled automatically when you switch, with a prorated refund for unused time. The refund is requested from Apple, and Apple decides on it.
  • If you bought Grok, Grok Bot, or X Premium through Google Play, check your subscriptions in Google Play after you switch. If it's still set to renew, cancel it there.
  • Subscriptions on accounts that are not part of the switch are not changed. Cancel them separately if needed.

On a Team plan, a Cursor team owner or admin starts the switch. To bring in an existing Grok team, they also need to be that team's owner or billing admin. See Unification eligibility: Who can combine accounts?

Refunds

When you switch to The X Subscription, any refund for your cancelled old subscription(s) is based on the time left in the billing period. This applies to Cursor individual, Grok/X, Cursor team, and annual plans alike.

Where your refund goes

When you switch, any refund for an old subscription goes back to its original payment method. It isn't added as credit to The X Subscription.

When your refund appears

After a refund is issued, how long it takes to show up on your original payment method depends on your bank or payment provider.
