#### Plans and usage

# Usage limits

Each paid seat on **The X Subscription** receives a weekly pool for eligible first-party usage only across supported Grok and Cursor surfaces. Your live usage view shows how much has been used and the next reset date.

For current third-party model availability and charges, see models and pricing in the product.

## How the weekly pool works

* The pool covers eligible first-party usage only.
* It is shared across eligible Grok and Cursor surfaces for that seat rather than split into separate product quotas.
* Usage rates vary by product, so different activities can draw different amounts from the pool.
* Additional Usage is any third-party model usage in Cursor, plus any first-party usage beyond your included weekly usage. Top-ups buy additional usage credits you can use for both.

## Can I still use third-party models?

Yes. Supported third-party models remain available in Cursor as paid Additional Usage. They are not included in the weekly usage pool.

## Does sharing one pool reduce my usage?

The weekly pool is shared across eligible first-party Grok and Cursor usage instead of being split into separate product quotas. Higher tiers include larger pools. Review the current included usage for each tier at [x.ai/pricing](https://x.ai/pricing) before switching.

## Individual plans

Each paid seat has a weekly pool for eligible first-party usage only, based on its plan. The current plan details and usage view show the eligible surfaces, available usage, and next reset date.

## Team and Enterprise plans

* On self-serve team plans, each paid seat has its own weekly pool for eligible first-party usage only. Seats do not share weekly pools.
* The team shares a prepaid balance for supported Additional Usage.
* Enterprise limits and controls follow the contract and current admin settings.

## Prepaid top-ups

After a seat uses up its included weekly usage, any further first-party usage is Additional Usage, paid from additional usage credits bought with top-ups.

The settings in your account control Auto Top-up, including whether it's on. Spending caps can limit paid Additional Usage.
