Copy your referral link and share it with a friend on X, Slack, or anywhere else. 2. Your friend opens the link, signs up, and enters a credit card to start their 2-week free trial of Premium. 3. Your friend is prompted to download the Grok Bot app and can start using it right away. 4. Once your friend becomes a paid subscriber, your reward shows as pending. [See plans and pricing](/x-subscription/pricing) ## Where to find your referral link * **Grok Bot on mobile:** tap the gift icon in the top right of any chat. * **Grok Bot on desktop:** click the gift icon in the bottom left, next to Connect apps. * **On the web:** go to [grok.com/dashboard/referrals](https://grok.com/dashboard/referrals). ## What your friend gets * A 2-week free trial of Premium. * A credit card is required to start the trial. * A reminder 7 days before their first charge, so they have time to cancel if they don't want to continue. ## What you get * One free usage reset for each friend who becomes a paid subscriber. * Your reward shows as pending first, then is added 7 days after your friend's payment is received. * Each usage reset is valid for 6 months after it's added. ## Good to know * If your friend's payment is refunded or disputed, the pending reward is removed. * Referral rewards have no cash value. * In-app purchases through Apple or Google aren't part of the referral program right now. * We may change, pause, or end the referral program at any time. ## Frequently asked questions ### Why don't I see the referral option? You may not be eligible yet. To refer friends, you need a paid Premium, Super, or Ultra plan on The X Subscription, be based in the US, and have checked out at least 7 days ago. Make sure you're on the latest version of the Grok Bot app. ### I'm on a Cursor or SuperGrok plan. Can I refer friends? Not on those plans. Your reward shows as pending once your friend becomes a paid subscriber. The usage reset is added to your account 7 days after their payment is received. ### What happens if my friend cancels during their trial? You receive a usage reset only when a friend you invited becomes a paid subscriber. If they cancel before their trial ends, no reward is issued. ### What happens if my friend gets a refund or disputes the charge? If your friend's payment is refunded or disputed, the pending reward for that referral is removed. ### Does my usage reset expire? Yes. Each usage reset is valid for 6 months after it's added to your account. ### Can I invite a friend who lives outside the US? Yes. You need to be in the US to refer, but friends can join from any country except China. ### My friend subscribed through the App Store or Google Play. Does that count? No. In-app purchases through Apple or Google aren't part of the referral program right now. Your friend needs to start their trial from your referral link and enter a credit card at checkout. ### Can I get cash instead of a usage reset?
