#### Get Started

# I have more than one Cursor account

The account-unification flow shows the eligible Cursor accounts involved in the change.

## What account collapse does

Account collapse combines the eligible Cursor accounts shown in the flow into the selected primary account. It does not switch your plan or cancel a subscription by itself.

Eligible subscriptions are cancelled only after you complete an eligible checkout for The X Subscription. Review the accounts and subscription changes shown in the product before you continue.

## What happens to canvases?

* **Shared canvases:** Shared canvases move to the primary account, and their existing share links continue to work.
* **Personal canvases:** Personal canvases are stored locally on your computer. They are not moved or changed when accounts are combined.

If the flow asks you to choose a primary account, review the in-product data summary for the accounts shown before confirming.

## What happens to your Grok Bots?

**Comes over to the primary account**

* Your Grok Bots, with the same bot IDs. They keep working next to the primary account's Grok Bots.
* Grok Bot chats, tasks, memory, routines and rooms
* Grok Bot meetings and transcripts
* Per-bot usage
* Grok Bot files and agent stores
* Grok Bot service accounts

**Replaces the primary account's**

These replace the primary account's only when both accounts have the same item. Anything only one account has is kept.

* Grok Bot skills. Skills that only the primary account has are kept.
* Grok Bot proactivity settings
* Grok Bot avatar
* Grok Bot computer
* Duplicate meeting transcripts: the newer copy wins.

**Stays on the other account**

* Grok Bot settings
* Grok Bot email address and inbox
* Grok Bot MCP setup
* Grok Bot form vault
* Grok Bot templates and attachments
* Grok Bot transcript overflow files
* Output from a Grok Bot turn that's running while the accounts are combined
* Personal canvases stored on your computer (they stay on your computer)

Your primary account keeps its own Grok Bot settings and setup. A form vault entry that clashes with one already there may stay with the old account. Nothing is deleted.

If the accounts can't be confirmed as belonging to the same person, Grok Bot data isn't moved. If combining stops partway, no Grok Bot data is deleted, but some of it may stay on the other account until combining finishes. Contact Support if that happens.

## How to continue

Start from the in-product **Unify** option or [cursor.com/unify](https://cursor.com/unify). Review each account and the in-product data summary, then confirm only when the details are correct.

If you also choose to switch plans, complete the eligible checkout shown in the flow. Subscription changes do not take effect from account collapse alone.

## Is an account missing?

If an account you expect is not listed, stop before confirming. Check that you used the intended sign-in method for each account, or contact Support for help.
