# Grok Bot for iOS

Use Grok Bot for iOS to start work, answer questions, approve steps, and
review results away from your desk.

The iPhone app connects to the same Bots, conversations, routines, connectors,
and shared cloud computer as the desktop app. Work continues in the cloud when
the app is closed.

## Requirements

* iPhone with iOS 18 or later
* An eligible plan: SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, or Cursor Teams Premium
  (sign in with your Cursor account)
* Internet connection

Grok Bot is currently designed for iOS on iPhone, not iPad or Android.

Download Grok Bot from the
[App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/grok-bot/id6794501026).

## Sign in and set up

1. Open Grok Bot.
2. Choose **Login with Cursor**.
3. Complete Cursor authentication in the browser.
4. Return to the app.

New users can complete the first-run tour, choose a first Bot, and wait while
the shared computer is set up. Existing users go directly to their synced Bot
list.

Enable notifications if you want to know when a Bot has a result, question, or
approval request. Push delivery is still rolling out; in-app attention states
remain available when push is not enabled for the account.

## Message a Bot

From a conversation, you can:

* send text;
* dictate a message;
* take or attach a photo;
* choose an image or file;
* mention another Bot or `@everyone` in a group;
* reply in a thread; and
* react to a message.

Drafts are saved per conversation when you navigate away.

## Create Bots and groups

Use the **+** control on the home screen to choose **New Agent** or **New Group
Chat**. You can also edit a Bot profile, manage group members, pin or hide a
conversation, and delete a Bot.

## Review the computer

Open the computer from a conversation when you need to:

* watch browser or desktop work;
* take over for a password, two-factor code, or CAPTCHA;
* inspect the current screen; or
* return control to the Bot.

The screen is the same shared computer used by every Bot on your account.

## Manage recurring work

Open a Bot's profile to review its routines. You can inspect the schedule, next
run, and instruction, then use **Active** to pause or resume a routine.

Editing the schedule or instruction, viewing run history, testing, and deleting
a routine currently require the desktop app.

## Search and review prior work

Use search from the home screen to find conversations and available message,
file, link, or routine results. Swipe actions provide quick access to common
conversation controls such as pin and hide.

## Settings

From **Settings**, you can:

* manage your account;
* install or review plugins;
* edit Bot settings;
* configure Auto Review when available;
* choose an appearance;
* review usage or manage an eligible iOS subscription; and
* sign out or delete your account.

Some advanced desktop controls and teach-by-demonstration workflows are not
available on iPhone. Use the desktop app when a flow requires them.

See [Message and collaborate](/grok-bot/chat-and-collaboration) for group behavior and
[Troubleshooting](/grok-bot/troubleshooting) for computer recovery.
